Resolution Authorizing The Purchase Of A Vermeer RTX-550 Tractor
Trencher Through The Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program
From Vermeer Equipment Of Texas, Inc., In The Amount Of $68,960
WHEREAS, items purchased through interlocal cooperative purchasing contracts
are exempt from the State's competitive bidding requirements;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Vermeer Equipment of Texas, Inc., is
offering a Vermeer tractor trencher through the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing
Program, and it is in the City's best interest to purchase this trencher in accordance with
the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase a
Vermeer RTX-550 tractor trencher from Vermeer Equipment of Texas, Inc., in the
amount of $68,960 through the Buy Board Cooperative Purchasing Program.
