Ordinance authorizing and granting a 150 square foot utility
easement and right of way to Oncor Electric Delivery Company, LLC
located at 4101 Burkburnett Road for the purpose of placing a down
guy and anchor as needed to support Oncor's facilities that will
become permanent as they remove the rest of the facilities that need
to be removed along 4021, 4027, 4029, 4031, 4039, and 4101
Burkburnett Road as part of the SAFB Perimeter Security and
Transportation Project and adjacent to the SAFB entrance.
WHEREAS, in order to complete the abatement, demolition, and clearing of the
properties located at 4021, 4027, 4029, 4031, 4039, and 4101 Burkburnett Road for the
SAFB Perimeter and Security Transportation Project the City requested tha t Oncor
remove the power poles, power lines, and transformers previously serving these
addresses; and,
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this, a guy wire and anchor must be installed
to stabilize and secure the remaining poles and lines along the right of way; and,
WHEREAS, Oncor will require a 150 square foot easement upon which to place
this guy wire and anchor, as depicted in Exhibit A to the EASEMENT AND RIGHT OF
WAY; and,
WHEREAS, City staff recommends and approves the easement and its location.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached EASEMENT AND
RIGHT OF WAY between the City of Wichita Falls and Oncor Electric Delivery
Company, LLC. As such easement is for the benefit of the City of Wichita Falls to
facilitate the SAFB Perimeter Security and Transportation Project demolition, this
easement shall be granted to Oncor at no cost.
