Resolution Confirming Appointments To The Firefighters' And Police
Officers' Civil Service Commission
WHEREAS, the Firefighters' and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission is
established by state law, specifically S@CtIOCI 143.006 Of the TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT
CODE and
WHEREAS, it is a three-member board, whose members are appointed by the
City Manager, with confirmation by the City Council; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager requests the confirmation of the appointment of
Ms. Carol DuBray and Mr. David Tate to the Firefighters' and Police Officers' Civil
Service Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The appointment of Ms. Carol DuBray and Mr. David Tate to the Firefighters'
and Police Officers' Civil Service Commission is hereby confirmed.
