Resolution authorizing the purchase of a John Deere 6120E Cab
Tractor with a CX15 Flex-wing Rotary Cutter through the
BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program from Quality
Implement Co. in the amount of $77,640.29
WHEREAS, local governments are authorized by Chapter 791, et seq., The
Interlocal Cooperation Act of the Government Code, to agree with other local
governments to form purchasing cooperatives; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a re solution
approving the participation in such cooperative agreements; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase a tractor for the maintenance of
bar ditches, etc… for the storm drain system, and,
WHEREAS, it is in the City’s best interest to purchase through the BuyBoard
Purchasing Cooperative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to purchase a John Deere cab tractor with cutter from
Quality Implement Co., in the amount of $77,640.29.
