RESOLUTION NO. _78-2011__
Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Execute A Professional
Services Agreement With Freese And Nichols, Inc. For Engineering
Services For The River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant Anaerobic
Digester Improvement Project In The Amount Of $497,583.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls is in need of repair to the anaerobic sludge
digesters at the River Road Wastewater Treatment Plant;
WHEREAS, it was determined that Freese and Nichols, Inc. was the most
qualified firm to perform engineering work for the project; and
WHEREAS, a fee for these services has been negotiated for an estimated total
of $497,583.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Professional Services
The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached
Agreement
with Freese and Nichols, Inc. for engineering services for the River Road
Wastewater Treatment Plant Anaerobic Digester Improvement Project in the amount of
$497,583.00, with changes to form as are approved by the City Attorney.
