ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF ATHLETIC ROAD TO
LANGFORD LANE; WAIVING SECTION 94 -322 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES TO PERMIT THE USE OF TROPHY PARK LANE IN THE
TROPHY PARK SUBDIVISION; AND FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED
WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, a new residential subdivision is being proposed to the west of Gregg
Road; and
WHEREAS, the renaming of Athletic Road to Langford Lane will help avoid
confusion of the traveling public; and,
WHEREAS, the naming of the entry street for the Trophy Park Subdivision to
Trophy Park Lane will serve the interests of the citizens of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The name of Athletic Road is hereby changed to Langford Lane.
SECTION 2. Section 94 -322 of the Code of Ordinances is hereby waived to
authorize the naming of the entry street for the Trophy Park Subdivision, as shown in
the Final Plat for Trophy Park Section 2, to Trophy Park Lane.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
