Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to
the contract with Carollo Engineers, Inc. for an Extra Services Task
in the amount of $23,800 for a water quality study of the proposed
Paddling Trail in Lake Wichita Park as part of the 404 Permit
application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
WHEREAS, during the March 8, 2016 meeting of the Lake Wichita Revitalization
Committee a motion was passed recommending the City amend the contract with
Carollo Engineers, Inc. for the preparation of a 404 Permit application to the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers for future lake improvements ; and
WHEREAS, this amendment is to authorize the Extra Services, Task E3, Kayak
Paddling Trail and Lagoon DO Analysis , as specified in the contract, in the amount of
$23,800 for the analysis of the dissolved oxygen in the proposed Paddling Trail in Lake
Wichita Park; and,
WHEREAS, funding will come from the balance in the City 404 Permit account of
$11,200 and $12,600 from the Friends of Reservoirs local chapter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the contract
with Carollo Engineers, Inc. for an Extra Serv ices task in the amount of $23,800 for a
dissolved oxygen study of the proposed Paddling Trail in Lake Wichita Park as part of
the 404 Permit application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
