ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, RENAMING A PORTION OF LAKE PARK DRIVE TO
TAFT BOULEVARD; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE
MEETING AT WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO
THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and
recommended renaming a portion of Lake Park Drive to Taft Boulevard; and'
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such name change is in the
public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. That portion of Lake Park Drive from generally Southwest Parkway
to FM 2380 (Lake Road) as shown on the attached map is hereby renamed to Taft
Boulevard for the entire length from Southwest Parkway to FM 2380.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
