ORDINANCE WAIVING UTILITY CHARGES AT 1505 BURNETT
STREET; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the City has received a request from Mrs. Maria Veguilla who
resides at 1505 Burnett, to waive water charges for the month of March 2002;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that this situation has
extenuating circumstances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Water charges in the amount of $1,338.45 incurred by Ms.
Maria Veguilla at 1505 Burnett for the month of March 2002 may be paid at the
rate of $1.00 /month without any interest. That will be tacked on to her normal
water bill.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting
at which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
