ORDINANCE WAIVING CHAPTER 94.128 THROUGH 94.132 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING SIDEWALKS AT 1217 SUN
VALLEY; FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, It has been determined that no sidewalks exist in the 1200 block of
Sun Valley; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 94.128 through 94.132 requires the installation of
sidewalks; and
WHEREAS, A City Council subcommittee is reviewing amendments to Chapter
94.128 through 94.132; and
WHEREAS, It has been determined that a waiver of the sidewalk requirements is
in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. Sidewalk requirements for 1217 Sun Valley are hereby waived.
SECTION 2. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
