Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Rezoning Lots That Front Kemp Boulevard Between Avenue C And
Avenue M From Limited Commercial To Commercial Corridor
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at their July 14, 2010 meeting and voted unanimously to recommend
approval of rezoning Lots That Front Kemp Boulevard Between Avenue C And Avenue
M From Limited Commercial To Commercial Corridor, which include Blocks 52, 53, 60,
61, 68, 69, 76, 77, 84, 85, 92, 93, 100, 101, 105, 106, 109, and 110 of Floral Heights
Addition, various lots within Blocks 2A and 3A Highland Addition, and adjacent street
rights-of-way, which are currently zoned Limited Commercial.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined that
the herein described rezoning is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The lots that front Kemp Boulevard between Avenue C and Avenue M, as
depicted in Attachment "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein, are hereby
rezoned to Commercial Corridor.
