Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Waiving Subsection A of Section 6.5, "Water," and Subsection A of
Section 6.10, "Lots and Setbacks," of Appendix A, Subdivision and
Development Regulations, of the City of Wichita Falls Code of
Ordinances, for Lot 1, Block 1 of the proposed P.D. Groves Addition,
located near 4715 Stansbury Lane
WHEREAS, to allow the completion of a storage building on a parcel of land
located behind 4715 Stansbury Lane, the land must be platted;
WHEREAS, for said property to be platted, waiving of the water service
requirement and the street frontage requirements is deemed necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid requirements are at the following subsections of
Appendix A, Subdivision and Development Regulations, of the City of Wichita Falls
Code of Ordinances, which read as follows:
6.5 ... A. All subdivisions shall be provided by the subdivider with water
supply and water distribution systems approved by the department of public
works and/or health department.
6.10. .. A. All lots shall have access to, and front on a public street unless
other wise approved as required herein. Lots designated for storm water
detention and other approved situations shall not be required to front on a public
street, but shall be accessed by approved easements. Once so shown and
described on a final plat, such Iot shall not thereafter be used for other than as
intended unless approved by the planning division and department of public
works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Subsection A of Section 6.5, "Water," of Appendix A, Subdivision and
Development Regulations, of the City of Wichita Falls Code of Ordinances is hereby
waived for the proposed final plat of the P.D. Groves Addition, Lot 1, Block 1.
2. Subsection A of Section 6.10, "Lots and Setbacks," of Appendix A,
Subdivision and Development Regulations of the City of Wichita Falls Code of
Ordinances, is hereby waived for the proposed final plat of the P.D. Groves Addition,
Lot 1, Block 1.
