The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular
session 6n the above date at 7-30 P.M., in the Council Room of the Memorial Audi-
torium Building, with the following members 'present:

RESOLUTION NO. 105
BE IT RESOLVED BY THM BOARD OF ALDER EN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALL
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called on the 3rd day of April,
A. D. 1951, for the purpose of electing four Aldermen for the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldermen shall be elected are hereby
designated as Nos. 12 23 3, and 5. Aldermen for Places Nos. 1, 2 and 3, shall
serve the City of Wichita Falls for the ensuing two years and until their success-
ors are elected and qualified. Alderman for Place No. 5 shall serve the City of
Wichita Falls for the ensuing one year, and until his successor is elected and
qualified.
SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with' the laws of
the State of Texas and the Ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls,
made and provided in such cases. The said election shall be held within the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, at the several voting places, and the following
persons are hereby appointed Judges of said election:
All qualified voters who reside inCounty Voting Precinct Nos. 1 and 8
shall vote at the Kitchencraft Southwestern, 1101 Lamar, herein designated as
City Voting Precinct No. 11 with E. P. Nevin as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in County Voting Precinct No. 2., shall
vote at the Travis School, herein designated as City Voting Precinct No. 2,
with Mrs C. 0. Simmons as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in that portion of County Voting Precinct
No. 3 which lies within the City, shall vote at the Barwise School, herein desig-
nated as City Voting Precinct No. 3, with M. 0. Moore as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in County Voting Precincts Nos. 4 and 5,
shall vote at the Wichita County Court House, herein designated as City Voting
Precinct No. 4, with L. L. Kuntz as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in that portion of County Voting Precinct
No. 6, which lies within theCity, shall vote at Doolen Pharmacy, herein designated
as City Voting Precinct No. 5, with G. W. Pond as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in that portion of County Voting Precinct
No. 7, which lies within the City, shall vote at Washington School, herein designa-
ted as City Voting Precinct No. 6, with A. E. Holland as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in County Voting Precinct No. 9, shall vote
at Kemp Public Library, herein designated as City Voting Precinct No. 7, with
Mrs E. D. Trevathan as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in County Voting Precinct No. 102 ' shall vote
at Jno Oechsner Electric Co. herein designated as City Voting Precinct No. 8,
with J. 1A. Baber as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in County Voting Precinct No. 11, shall vote
at Reagan School, herein designated as City Voting Precinct No. 91 with Roscoe
Staton as Presiding Judge.
All qualified voters who reside in Cou:ity Voting Precinct No. 12, shall vote
at 17th St. Fire Station, herein designated as City Voting Precinct No. 10, with
C. C. Gordon as Presiding Judge.

SECTION 4. That a copy of this Resolution signed by the Mayor of.
said City and attested by the City Clerk shall serve as a proper notice of
said election.
The Mayor is further authorized and directed to cause a Notice calling
such election to be published three times in the official newspaper of the City,
the first publication of the Notice shall be ten (10) days before the election.

Gentlemen:
I beg to report that Stuckey Construction Company, a partnership, of
Wichita Falls, Texas, to whom was awarded the contract for the irprovement of
certain streets and avenues in the City of WichitaFalls, Texas, has completed
the improvements on
HOLLIDAY STREET from the South Property Lire of Fifth Street
to the North Property Line of Seventh Street, known and
designated as Unit or District No, 11.
The said improvements having been completed in strict accordance
with the terms of said contract and specifications of said work adopted by
the City, I hereby recommend that the said improvements be finally accepted
by the Board of Aldermen.

OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls, heretofore entered into a contract
with Stuckey Construction Company, a partnership, of WichitaFalls, Texas, for
the making and construction of certain improvements on the following portion of
Holliday Street in said City to wit:
HOLLIDAY STREET, from. the South Property Line of Fifth Street
to the North Property Line of Seventh Street, known and designated
as Unit or District No. 11.
and.,
WHEREAS, such improvements have been completed upon said portion of
Holliday Street and have been inspected and found to be complete in accordance
with the contract therefor, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The improvements on said portion of Holliday Street, be, and they are
hereby, accepted; and the contract with reference to the construction of such
improvements be, and is hereby, .found and declared fully completed and performed.
III
The Mayor be, and he is hereby directed to issue and execute in the
name of the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments levied
against abutting property and owners thereof for such improvements, and the
City Clerk is directed to execute same and impress thereon the corporate seal,
all in accordance with the proceedings relating to such improvements and assess-
ments; such certificates shall be delivered to said Company.
III.
This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

of Wichita Falls, Texas, to whom was awarded the contract for the improvements
of certain streets and avenues in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, has com-
pleted the improvements on,
TWELFTH STREET, on the unpaved and unimproved portions lying in
and between the center line of Lamar-Travis alley and the east
property line of Austin Street, known and designated as Unit
or District No. 24*
The said improvements having been completed in strict accordance
with the terms of said contract and specifications of said work adopted by
the City, I hereby recommend that the said improvements be finally accepted
by the Board of Aldermen.

DEPOSIT OF SUCH FEES BY THE CITY TREASURER IN A SPECIAL FUND; PROVIDING FOR THE
METHOD AND PURPOSE OF DISBURSETHENT OF SAID FUND; i,TAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO USE THE
STREETS OR PORTIONS OF THE STREETS SO DESIGNATED FOR PARKING EXCEPT THROUGH USE
OF PARKING METERS; DEFINING WHAT ACT SHALL BE UNLAWFUL, .AND FIXING PENALTIES
FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDRIANCE, AND REPEALING ALL ORDI-

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE PRICE OF CEMETERY LOTS IN RIVERSIDE CEIETERY
AND THE COST OF EXHUMING BODIES.
BE IT RESOLZED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FAZES
TEXAS:
That from and after this date all conveyances of cemetery lots in
the present existing Riverside Cemetery sold by the City of Wichita Falls shall
be at the following price:
Seventy-five (750) Cents per Square Foot,
Be it further resolved that the fee to be charged by the City of Wichita
Falls for exhuming bodies in Riverside Cemetery be the sum of Thirty ( 30.00)
Dollars, Out of this sum Twenty ($20.00) Dollars is to be paid directly* to the
City of Wichita Falls and a bonus in cash of Five ($5.00) Dollars each to be paid
to two men to do the actual work.
Moved by Alderman Putman that the above and foregoing Resolution No.
111 be approved and passed as read.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Thomas., Ray and Putmang and Mayor Jones.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Putman that the Chief of Police C. C. Daniel be
authorized to attend the F.B.I. School., with the City of Wichita Falls paying
his expenses of approximately $700.00.
Motion seconded by Alderman Ray and carried.
Moved by Alderman Ray that the City of Wichita Falls furnish water to
the Y.W.C.A. at no cost.
Motion seconded by Alderman Putman and carried.
Moved by Alderman Putman that the application of the Checker Cab
for five additional taxieab permits be denied.
Motion seconded by Alderman Ray and carried.
