Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Closing, Abandoning, And Vacating A Previously Dedicated 30-Foot
Wide Utility Easement (Approximately 0.137 Acres) At 4909 Johnson
Road, Aka Lot 2 Of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Site Lakeview
Farms, Subject To The Property Owner's Relocation Of All Public
Utilities Therein
WHEREAS, Hospice of Wichita Falls has requested to close, vacate and
abandon a 30-foot wide utility easement (approximately 0.137 Acres) at Lot 2 of Our
Redeemer Lutheran Church Site Lakeview Farms, Wichita County, Wichita Falls,
Texas, and
WHEREAS, all affected utility companies and City departments have reviewed
this request and have recommended conditional approval to close, abandon, and
vacate this utility easement; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined to be in the best public interest to close,
vacate, and abandon said utility easement as herein indicated on the attached Location
Map.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The 30-Foot Wide Utility Easement (approximately 0.137 Acres) at 4909
Johnson Road aka Lot 2 of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Site Lakeview Farms, in
Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, as indicated on the attached Location Map, is
hereby closed, abandoned, and vacated, subject to the property owner's relocation of
all public utilities therein.
2. After the property owner's relocation of all public utilities in the aforementioned
easement, the City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary to
effectuate and memorialize the aforementioned abandonment.

AND EX7ENDING 7.5 FEET EACH SIDE pF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED CENTERLINE:
6EGINNING at a point 7.5 feet South of ti�e South right of way line of Johnson Road, said point
t�ears N 89° 43' W 328.6 feet and S 00° 30' E 7.5 feet from the intersection of the South righl of
way line of Johnson Road with the Wesi right of way line of Raider Drive, said intersection point
being the Northeast comer of Lot 2, Our Red�emer Lutheran Church 51te, as recorded at Volume
27, Pages 333 and 334, Wichita County Plat Records;

foot wide utifity ease'ment.

successors and assigns, together with the right and priviiege at any and afl times to entsr said premises, or part
thereof, for the purposes of constructing, servicing, mafntaining and opera6ng said _ utility lines , appurtenances
and connections; all upon the condition that the City of Wichita Falls __, after doing any work in connection
with the construction, maintenance and operation of said utili lines , restore the ground as nearly as
possible to the condition in which it was found before such work was undertaken.
