WHEE1iEA3$ it is the opinion of the Board of Aldermen that the
present own.er and holder of the motor bus transportation franchise is in
violation of its franchise in that it is not rendering to the general public
an adequate transportation service -with dependable schedule3,, and further
that they have made chanEes in bus schedules without consulting the
Board of Aldermen,
Tli�REFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF A11DERKEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
That the necessary steps be taken to cancel said franchise if
the bus company does not comply with its part of the franchise agrer,-j-nent
-to render adeqilate bu-,- oervice with dependable sc'ledules witLln a reason-
able time.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk send a copy of the
Reso;ution to the record owner of the aforesaid franchise, its knov.m traffic
consultants, managers and supervisors.

Said funds being parts of the money received frorn the sale of bonds voted
by �"he citizens of Wichita Falls December 6, 1949, at an election called
for that purpose and being funds not. presently needed for purposes for
which each is designated. It being expressly provided that each fund shall
be kept by said bank so that it shall be distinguishable from any other
fund and shall be subject*to withdrawal by the city only upon the City giving
the bank thirty (30) days notice of intention of withdrawal; any part or all
of same being subject to such, conditions. Said deposits shall be secured by
United States Goverrvaent Bonds in an amount equal to the amount of deposit,
the bonds being subject to withdrawal by the bank simultaneously in proportion
to the amounts withdraun by the city.

and Mary Frances Waggoner, deceased.9 and to hereby authorize Mayor Harold
Jones to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls;
the purpose of this deed being for perfection of title only.

Corporation to erect a service station, including three 3000 gal. underground
gasoline storage tanks, at 9th & Lamar Streets, Wichita Fallso being the

the same is erected under the supervision of the City Engineer.

line of U. 3. Highway No. 281,, said point being on the present city limit
line;

FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That an election is hereby called on the 4th day of
April A. D. 1950, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and three Aldermen
for the City of Wichita Falls'. Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldernen shall be elected are
hereby designated as Nos. 4, 5 and 6. Said Mayor and Aldermen shall serve
the City of Wichita Falls for the ensuing two years and until their
successors are elected and qualified.
