Memorial Auditorium Building
December 9, 1949
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in
called session on the above date at 5:00 o'clock P. M. in theCouncil Room
of the Memorial Auditorium Building, with the following members present:

L. R. Abbott 0
Lloyd C. Thomas Aldermen
Roy W. Parish
Geo. T. Henderson City Clerk
L. M. Crow, Jr. Acting City Manager
Mayor Jones stated the purpose of this meeting to be consideration
of various matters of importance to the City.

Moved by Alderman Parish that the Board of Aldermen approve and adopt
the Plat Dedication of Southmoor Manors, Inc. covering 16.77 acres, as shown by
the plat attached hereto and made a part of the records hereof.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried.
Moved by Alderman Abbott that the Board of Aldermen authorize taxicab
deposit refunds to the following taxicab operators: Checker Cab Co. the sum of
$3500,00, Yellow Cab Co. the sum of $4000.00, E. P. Dabs the sum of $1000.00,
and Hamp's Taxi Co. the sum of $3250.00) and to direct the City Clerk to draw
warrants for the same in compliance with the provisions of the taxicab deposit
refund ordinance.
Motion seconded by Alderman Parish and carried.
Moved' by Alderman Abbott that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Thomas and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
