Henderson City Clerk I The 1VIinutes of the regular meeting held October 11, 1948, were read and approved as read; likewise the Minutes of the called meeting held October 18, 1948 were read and approved as read. A petition was presented to the Council signed by J. M. Ealy, Secretary, Wichita Falls Trades & Labor Council, requesting that Clyde Tittle, employee of the Times Publishint Company, be appointed to fill the existing vacancy on the local Police and Firemens Civil Service Comruosion. The petition was graciously received and temporarily deferred for further advise- ment and consideration.
