revision and reduction of the garbage hauling rate affectin a certain area
on the south side of Speedway in the vicinity of Mr. Polhemus' residence.

Harold Jones to execute an Application to the Civil Aeronaatics Admiiiistrattdon
for a grant of $12,955.75 as federal aid for the construction of the par?ring
area and other pertinent uror, at the Administration Build-n„ at Kell. Field
Airport.

City to pave Hampstead Lane was read to the Board of Aldermen. The matter
was defer-,<; for further advisement..
Moved by Alderman Kadane that the Board of Aldermen approve and
author;;ae the sale of Lot 9, Block 25, Fairview Addition, to Edward Garbaer,
for a cash consideration of $600.00, and to authorize and empower Mayor
: arold Jones to execute a deed for the same for and on behalf of the City of
Wic'-dta Falls when and at such time as the sale is consu,-n-aated.

The request of H. Willis and Jim Allison for the Citd to pay a
plumbing bill in the amount. of $33.95 for alleged claim for damages at
1414 Tilden Street was rejected by com.:ion consent of the Council.
Moved by Alderman Kadane thr,t the Board of Aldermen approve and
authori ze the leasing of approximatel�r 15n acres of grazing land at Lake
Kickapoo to Jack Parkay, for a period v of one gear, for a cash cons ideraticn
of S1.50 per acre, aggregatint; the sum of $234.00, grid to authorize and
empower Mayor Jones, or the City Mat_acer, to execute a Lease Agreement for
the same for and on behalf of the Cit;;

Moved by Alderman Kadane that; the Board of Aldermen approve and
authorize payment. to Claude M. Burnett the sum of v259.00 as earned romr is.,ion
for the collection of delinquent taxes, both personal and real, from June 1,
1948, to June 26, 1948, and to direct the City Clerk to draw a warrant for the
same.

Moved by Alderman Ray that the Board of Aldermen approve and ratify
payment to the Wicinita Falls Insurance Xxcha^bye the sum of • 3440.82 for PLWD
insurance on city-owned motorized e uip;nent,, a7 evidenced by VOuaher No. 48-2037.

Moved by Alderman Winiriger that the Board of Aldermen approve and
authorize payment of the sum of -$500.00 each to Alan Bryce, Roscoe Staton
and Fred Cone as compensatio for services rendered on the City Tax Equalization
Board for the year 1943, 1.1,n and at such time as their services shall 'lave been
completed and terminated.
Motion seconded by Alderman Coffey and carried.
Alderman Kadane gave an interesting and instructive verbal report
of the polio clean-up campaign now in progress.
