Resolution awarding bid and contract for the 2016 Water Budget
Utility Improvements Project to Bowles Construction Co. in the
amount of $865,581.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for the 2016 Water
Budget Utility Improvements Project; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Bowles Construction
Co., who made a unit price bid with an estimated total of $865,581.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the 2016 Water Budget Utility Improvements Project
awarded to Bowles Construction Co., in an estimated total amount of $865,581.00, and
the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract , in a form approved by the City
Attorney, for the City with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 16th day of February 2016.
