11oved by Alderman Eva-is that the Board of Aldermen approve and authorize
a three-year co?muercial oil and Eas lease, with an annual rental of $1.00 per acre,
on approximately 140 acres e-,rcess land at Lake Kickapoo, located in Abstract 689,
Hooper.& Wade Survey, Archer County, Texas, to Fain & �IcGaha for a consideration of
*1000.00 cash, plus ;n50.00 per acre payable out of 1/16th of 7/8ths of all the
oil and gas produced and saved; provided the said Fain & '1cGaha shall begin the
actual drilling of a well vrithin 3000 ft. of the above described tract of land within
a period of 60 days, and drill the same to a depth of 5000 ft. unless oil or gas is
produced in pay-inr; quantities at a lesser depth; and further to authorize Mayor
W. B. Hamilton to oxecute the s-id oil and i-.a.s lease for and on behalf of the city
of Wichita Falls.

Moved by .Ilder:!ian Sager that the Board of Aldermen an rove and authorize
the execution of a contract by and between the Vlichita Falls Independent School
District and Junior College, respectively, for tax collection, for which a charge
stall be made by the city of two and one-half percent (2 1/21) of the gross
collections, and to authorize Mayor W. 13. Hamilton to execute the said contracts
for and on behalf of the City of Wicliita Falls.
