The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in
called session at 10-30 o'clock A. M. on the above date in the Council Room
in the Memorial Auditorium, with the following members present:
W. B. Hamilton, Mayor
C. A. Spragins, 0
K. C. Spell, Aldermen
E. J. Wininger,
G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager
T. A. Hicks, City Attiorney
Geo. T. Henderson, City Clerk
Mayor Hamilton announced a quorum present, and also announced the
purpose of this meeting to be the awarding of the sale of $500,000 First
Mortgage Waterworks Revenue bonds. The bids submitted were as follows:

Moved by Alderman Spragins that theBoard of Aldermen accept the bid of
Moss, Moore & Co., Dallas, R. J. Edwards, Inc. Dallas, First of Texas Corp. San
Antonio, and Dallas Rupe & Son, Dallas, being theligbest and best bidder and that
they be awarded the contract for the purchase of $500,000 First Mortgage Waterworks
Revenue Bonds from the City of Wichita Falls, for the consideration above stated,
plus accrued interest from April 1, 1947 to date of delivery.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Spragins, Spell, Wininger and Mayor Hamilton
Nays: None.

Moved by Alderman Spell that the Board of Aldermen authorize Mayor
W. B. Hamilton to execute for and on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls the I
contract with Moss, Moore & Co., Dallas, R. J. Edwards, Inc. Dallas, First of
Texas Corp. San Antonio, and Dallas Rupe & Son, Dallas, for the sale of the
said $500,000 First Mortgage Waterworks Revenue Bonds.
Motion seconded by AldermanWininger and carried by the following
vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Spragins, Spell, Wininger and Mayor Hamilton.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Wininger that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spell and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
