Memorial Auditorium

The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in
called session at 10:30 o'clock A. M. on the above date in the Council Room
in the Memorial Auditorium, with the following members present:
W. B. Hamilton, Mayor
C. A. Spragins,
J. W. Fitzpatrick, X
E. J. Wininger, Aldermen
J. M. Baber, X
A. Jay Eastham,
G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager
T. A. Hicks, City Attorney
J. B. Hickerson, Acting City Clerk
Mayor Hamilton announced the purpose of this meeting to be considera-
tion of Consent and Attornment between Fulcher Armstrong and Braniff Airways.
Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that Mayor W B.
Hamilton be authorized
to sign a Consent and Attornment on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls., Texas_,
approving the airport agreement between Fulcher Armstrong of Wichita County,
Texas, doing business as the Wichita Falls Air Transport ComparW, and Braniff
Airways, Inc.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spragins and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wininger that the City Clerk be authorized to pay
to Wichita General Hospital the sum of $3,182.21 for May, upon like payment by
Wichita County.
Motion seconded by Alderman Eastham and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. JLIA
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE PORTION OF F. M.
HIGHWAY N0. 171 IN THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, COUNTY OF WICHITA, TEXAS, HEREBY
REFERRED TO AS MUNICIPAL MAINTENANCE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
CITY, OR OTHER AUTHORIZED CITY OFFICIAL HE
TO EXECUTE AND AFFIX THE CORPC�OF T
SEAL AND ATTEST SAME, A CERTAIN AGRE ,AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE STATE OF
TEXAS, PROVIDING FCR THE MAINTENANCE AND USE OF THE SAID MAINTENANCE PROJECT;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING THAT THIS CRDINANCE SHOULD BE
EFFECTIVE FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE.
Moved by Alderman Spragins that Ordinance No. 1413 be approved and
passed as read on its second reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Baber and carried by the following vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Spragins, Fitzpatrick, Wininger, Baber and Eastham.
Nays: None.

Moved by Alderman Spragins that a temporary permit be granted to
Auto Spring & Supply Company to install an air conditioner unit on their
awning at 504 Ohio Avenue; also temporary permit to Monaghan-Jones Motor Co.
to install colling units on their awning at 600 Scott Street, providing all
shall be installed under the supervision of the City Engineer.
Motion seconded by Alderman Baber and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spragins that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
