Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Wichita Falls, Texas,
Appropriating To The Special Revenue Fund For Housing
Opportunities For Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Grant Funding In The
Amount of $66,000 For The Early Intervention Program, And
Authorizing The City Manager To Execute A Contract And All Other
Documents Necessary To Receive Said Funds From Tarrant County
For The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health District Pursuant To The
HOPWA Grant.
WHEREAS, the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District has received
notice of the availability of HOPWA grant revenue from Tarrant County; Texas, and
WHEREAS, the Public Health District desires to receive these funds to continue
providing housing and utility assistance to eligible clients; and
WHEREAS, the award of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to the
adoption of the FY 2009-2010 budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
There is hereby appropriated in the HOPWA Grant Special Revenue Fund
$66,000 for the Early Intervention Program, and the City Manager is authorized to
execute a contract and all other documents necessary to receive said funds from Tarrant
County for the Wichita Falls-Wichita County Health District pursuant to the HOPWA
Grant.
