Wichita Falls, Texas
Memorial Auditorium
August 1, 1945
The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in
called session at 11:00 o'clock A. M. on the above date in the Council Room
in the Memorial Auditorium, with the following members present:
W. B. Hamilton, Mayor
C. A. Spragins,
J. W. Fitzpatrick,
h;. J. Wininger,
W. Ralph Hyer,
G. D. Fairtrace, City Manager
Geo. T. Henderson, City Clerk
Mayor Hamilton announced a quorum present, and that the Council
would proceed with the regular order of business.
Mayor Hamilton also announced the purpose of this called session
to be the consideration of the proposed contract by and between the City of
Wichita Falls and the United States of America for the maintenance of Kell
Field Airport.
Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen approve the
proposed contract as read, by and between the City of Wichita Falls and
the United States of America, more particularly described as Supplemental
Agreement No. 51, Lease No. W-257-eng-272, and further to authorize Mayor
W. B. Hamilton to execute said supplemental agreement for and on behalf of
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wini.nger and carried.
Moved by Alderman Wini.nger that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spragins and carried.
The hoard of Aldermen then adjourned.
