Min 09/25/1944 126 Wichita Falls, Texas Memorial Auditorium September 25, 1944 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in regular session at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the above date in the Council Room in the Memorial Auditorium Building with the following members present: W. B. Hamilton, Mayor C. A. Spragins, J. 1r. Fitzpatrick, X E. J. Wininger, Z Aldermen J. V. Baber, � 0. G. Stephens, Cs. D. Fairtrace, City Manager T. A. Hicks, City Attorney Geo. T. Henderson, City Clerk The Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. ORDINANCE NO. 1391 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERM FNT FOR THE'FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1944. Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that Ordinance No. 1391 be approved as read and passed on its second reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen Spragins, Fitzpatrick, ti'Jininger, Baber and Stephens. Nays: None. Moved by Alderman Wininger that the Board of Aldermen authorize the issuance of a license to Clint Broday and R. H. Creed to operate a miniature golf course under the name of Junior Country Club and to be located at 12th and Lamar Streets. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Spragins that the Board of Aldermen authorize the issuance of chauffeur's license to R. L. Holland. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. 127 Moved by Alderman Spragins that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order the City Clerk to transfer the sum of $149,000 from the V:7ater Fund cash account to the General Fund cash account the sum of $105,000 Street Fund cash account the sum of 40,000 Library Fund cash account the sum of 4,000 $149,000 Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order the City Clerk to transfer the sum of $12,000 from the Parking Meter Fund cash account to the regular water fund cash account; the purpose of this transfer being partial payment of a loan in prior years to the Parking Meter Fund by the "later Fund. Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. Moved by Alderman Baber that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order the City Clerk to transfer the sum of $17,487.26 from `iyater Improvement No. 4 Fund cash account to the regular Water Fund cash account. Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried. Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order the City Clerk to transfer the sum of $81.57 from Water Improvement No. 1 Fund cash account to Water Improvement No.'2 Fund cash account. Motion seconded by Alderman Baber and carried. Moved by Alderman Baber that the meeting be adjourned. Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
