Moved by Alderman C. A. Spragins that the Minutes of May lst A.D., 1944,
be approved as read.
Motion seconded by alderman T. M. Baker and carried.
A written report frrn the Planning and Zoning Comrassion signed by Tohn
Gould discicsed that the Planning and Zoning Com;TAssion approved of the relocation
of the Central Church of the Nazarene at 1500 Holliday Street.

The Committee previously* appointed to negotiate with the oviners of
the East Side Gardens reported that the best offer they had received for a
settlement was $125,00 per acre, whereupon the following motion was made:
Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the report of the Committee be
accepted and that the Board of Aldermen authorize the City Attorney to perfect
a settlement with Mr. Bsuener and kr. Moore on the basis of $125,00 per acre
upon the condition that the City Attorney prepare and secure a sipw d Release
from the said Mr. Bruener and kr. Akoore releasing the City from any further
liability.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried.
Moved by Aldermen Fitzpatrick that the Board of Aldermen authorize
the issuance of a Solicitor's License to the Central Church of the Nazarene.
Motion seconded by Alderman Wininger and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spragins that the Board of Aldermen approve the
plat and dedication of the Blackman and ►killiams Third Addition to the City
of 'Wichita Falls, Texas.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried.
Moved by Alderman Baber that the Board of Aldermen authorize the
issuance of a Chauffer•s License to Elwood McMillen.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spragins and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen authorize the
issuance of a dance hall license to Roscoe Herron DBA Paradise Inn at 810
Harding Street.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spragins and carried.
Moved by Alderman Spragins that the City Attorney be authorized
end instructed to proceed to collect taxes as described in Section 2 of
Ordinance 1372.
Motion seconded by Alderman Baber and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen Authorize the
paving, which includes the installation of curbs and gutters, on Holliday
Street, between Eighth aid Ninth, at an approximate cost of $1152.00, provided
the adjacent property owners will pay
one-half of the cost, leaving the
other one-half to be paid by the City of Voichita Falls.
