The board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met in
regular session at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the above date in the Council Room
in the Memorial Auditorium Building with the following members present:

Moved by Alderman Spragins that Alderman J. W. Hunt be appointed Mayor
Pro tem for this meeting.
V.otion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Mayor Pro tem J. W. Hunt declared a quorum present.
The Min»tes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen aopoi.nte� Dr.
J. D. Hall, Dr. J. A. Heymann and Dr. Otto C. Egdorf to serve as members of
the Wichita General Hospital Board for a term of two years.

Moved by Alderman Spragins that the hoard of Aldermen authorize the
issuance of a domino license to Zearl Black, dba Diamond Bar Domino Parlor at
617 8th Street.

Moved by Alderman Baber that the Board of Aldermen approve tax refund
to F. N. Shaver in the amount of $11.25 on account of double payment on L,-)t 21,
Block 13, Sibley-Taylor Addition, further arithorize and order the City Clerk to
draw a warrant for the same.

Moved by Alderman Hyer that permission be granted to Pioneer Refiners
for the conversion of two overhead lubricating oil tanks into gasoline storage
tanks located at the corner of Lincoln Street and Burk Road.
Motion seconded by Alderman Spragins and carried.
The claim of Hamilton-Martin Investment Company in the amount of
$1,055.92 for the payment of additional taxes by the City of Wichita Falls in
connection with the purchase of certain water mains, etc, in the Country Club
Estates was referred to T. A. Hicks, City Attorney, for further investigation.
The request of Stephens-Truitt Lumber Co. for permission to dismantle
the horse barns located on certain city property or for the City to exercise
its option for the assumption of indebtedness against the same was discussed,
whereupon Mayor Pro tem Hunt appointed Aldermen Spragins and Baber as a com-
mittee of two to serve in conjunction with the keting City Manager for the pur-
pose of consulting the Chamber of Commerce and the W11chita Falls Jubilee Assn.
to ascertain what action, if any, they might care to take in the matter; said
committee to make its report to the Council at the next reo lar meeting.
Alfnved by Alderman Spragins that the board of Aldermen authorize the
City Uianager to negotiate a contract with the United States of America for the
sub leasing of the building now occupied by the 11ilitary Police at a consider-
ation of w-.'=100.00 per month and the City to nay all utility bills.
