The .Board of Aldermen of the City of 'hichita Falls, Texas, met in
regular session at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on the above date in the Council Room
in the Memorial Auditorium Building with the following members present:

J. Fitzpatrick,

ORDINANCE NO. 1377
All ORDINANCE A': LADING SECTION 4-702; (427), 4-707; (427) OF THE
CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, 1941, ADOPTED
BY ORDINANCE NO. 1315 PASSED AND APPROVED ON JANUARY 6, 1941, CHANGING THE
A!:IOUNT OF THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEE CHARGED FCR A PEW,1IT TO OPERATE A DANCE HALL
"rITHIN THE CITY OF NaCHITA FALL AND CH0GING THE TIME OF CLOSING DANCE HALLS
FROM 1 A.M. TO 12 P.14. AND DECi,ARING AN E^gEGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Hyer that Ordinance No. 1377 be approved as read and
passed on its third and final reading, and declaring an emergency.
Notion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried by the following
vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Spragins, Fitzpatrick, Hunt, Hyer, Baber and Stephens.
Nays: None.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that chauffeur's licenses be granted to
Marion K. Hise, Willie R. Conkle, Inez R. Stevens and James D. Culver.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hunt and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of xlderne n approve tax
refund to S. W. Brandon in the amount of $10.80 and likewise refund to Elizabeth
Ramsdell in the amount of $12.15; both on account of double tax payments, and
authorize and order the City Clerk to draw warrants payable to the above parties
for their respective amounts.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.

Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board of aldermen authorize
Mayor : . P. Hood to attend the Conference of Mayors convening in Chicago
January 19th to 21st, with expenses paid by the City of Wichita Falls.
'motion seconded by Alderman Spragins and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that the meeting be adjourned.

The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
