The Board of Aldermen of the City of i+ichita "alls met in regular session at 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the council Room of the Memorial Auditorium building, on the above date, with the following members present: w. Henderson, cit qlerk The minuted of the regular meetingof January l;th were read and approved. b2oved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the American Legion be granted a Permit for the World of Today Carnival Shows at the Ball Park grounds, beginning March 29 to 31 for a period of two weeks, provided the regular $50.00 license fee be paid to the City Tax Collector. Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. - - - - - - - - - - Moved by Alderman Williams that Roscoe Staton be granted a Permit to erect a light pole and install an electric light at 1200 Scott Street, provided the State highway Department gives its consent, together with the consent of the city Engineers. Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. ORDINANCE NO. 1358 AN ORDINANCE DEFINING RESTAURANT, ITINIERANT RESTAURANT, EMPLOYEE, UTENSILS, HEALTH OFFICER, ETC., RERUIRING PERMITS FOR THE OPERATION OF SUCH ESTAIMIS04ENTS, PROHIBITING THE SALE OF ADULTERATED, UNVEOLESCME OR YIS- BRANDED FOOD OR DRINK, REGUTATING THE IUPECTION, MADING, REGRADING, AND PLACARDING OF SUCH ESTABLISITYENTS, THE ENFORCEN'MNT OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND THE FIXING OF PENALTIES. koved by Alderman Stampfli that Ordinance No. 1358 be deferred for further consideration to the next regular meeting, and that the City Manager be instructed to communicate with all cafes, restaurants and other eating establish- ments affected by this ordinance and request their presence at the next regular Council meeting. Motion seconded by Alderman Baber and carried by the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen vd1liams, Fitzpatrick, Stampfli, Baber and Stephens. Nays: None. ORDINANCE NO. 1359 AN ORDINANNCE AYMIDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE 841, PASSED AND APPROVED ON 'IfIE 8TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1926, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A TAX ON DOGS, PROVIDING FOR VACCINATION OF DOGS AGAINST RABIES BY A LICENSER VETERINARIAN AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO THE ISSUANCE OF SUCH LICENSE TAG, THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR SUCH VACCINATION AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLIECTION OF SAID TAX, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY, REPEALING ORDINANCES NOS. 396 AND 589 AND ALL OTM ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE11TH:" SUCH SECTION BEING ALSO KNOT AS SECTION 3-101 OF CODIFICATION OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF VICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, 1941, SO THAT SAID SECTION SHALL PROVIDE FOR AN ANNUAL TAX OF ONE DOLLAR ON MALE DOGS AND TWO DOLLAR' FOR FEMALE DOGS; AM) DECLARING AN ENMGENCY.
