The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Council Room of the memorial Auditorium
Building on the above date with the following members present:

The Minutes of the regular meeting of November 30th and of the ren_ularly
called session of December 3rd were read and approved.
ORDINANCE NO. 1354
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 3 AND AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE
0. 1317, PASSED AND APPROVED ON THE 3RD DAY OF ",IARCH, A.D. 1941.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that Ordinance No. 1354 be passed on its
third and final reading and declaring an emergency.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried by the following
vote:
Yeas: Aldermen Stampfli, Stephens, Fitzpatrick, Hyer and Baber.

ORDINANCE NO. 1355

CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF VICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, SHALL KEEP ALL DISCARDED TIN
CANS TO AND INCLUDING T','0 GALLON CANS, CUTTING TOP AND BOTTOM FROU CANS, R.EIAOVING ALL
TRACE OF ORIGINAL CONTENTS AND PAPER LABELS THEREFROM, COMPLETELY FLATTENING ALL TIN
CANS COLIECTED, PLACING IN '.'OODEN OR IJETAL CONTAINERS AND DEPOSIT SAID CONTAINERS

of Taylor Street bus as recuested by the ':ichita Transit Corporation to be over
Tayler Street to Avenue C; :avenue C to Elizabeth; Elizabeth to Brook; Brook to 3th;
_1h to Ohio.
Motion seconded by Alterman Baber and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the City Clerk be authorized and ordered
to transfer the sum of $110,500 from the Treasurer's Water Fund to the following
cash funds:
General Fund $ 75,000.00
Street Fund 25,000.00
Library Fund 8,494.23

Parking deter Fund 2,000.00

ORDINANCE NO. 1357
AN ORDINANCE '.BAKING APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1942, AND ENDING SEP=ER 30, 1943.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the 1942-43 Budget Appropriation Ordinance
No. 1357 be passed on its first reading.
Votion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried by the following vote:
Yeas:
Aldermen Stampfli, Fitzpatrick, Hyer, Baber and Stephens.
Nays: None
Moved by Alderman flyer that December 14th be designated as the date for a
public hearing on the 1942-43 budget appropriation Ordinance No. 1357 and that
notice of the same be published in the official newspaper.

1ayor Hood reported that he had received a petition bearing signatures of
a number of residents near Harrison and Shaw and Harrison and Van Buren requesting
street lights be installed at the intersection of the above named streets.
In this connection, City Manager J. A. Giddings, Jr. reported that he had
been inforined by the 'texas Electric `service Company that copper ,;ire uas not avail-
able at this time to make the installations but that he would keep contact v,ith the
Texas Electric Service Company concerning the above.
