The Board of Aldermen of the Citv of Wichita Falls met in a
regularly called session at 10:00 o'clock A. Y. in the Council Room of the
Iemorial Auditorium Building on the above date with the following members
present:
W. P. hoed, Mayor

W. Ralph Hyer, j Aldermen
Jas. Y. Williams, j
Jas. A. Giddings, Jr. City Manager
J. H. Crouch, City Clerk
T. A. Hicks, City Attorney
F. Y. Rugeley, City En:r'ineer
C. F. Roberts, FWA Engineer
Mayor Hood announced the purpose of this special, called meeting ,
among other things, to be the consideration of bids of FVzk Project No. 41-167.
Bids were opened, read and tabulated as follows:
Panhandle-Sirs-Dalton, Bid Bond for $10,000 - bid $176,598.50
P. C. Sorenson & Co., " " " 10,000 - " $159,703.25
After examination of bids submitted, the City Engineer requested
that no final disposition be made in the awarding of coat rp ct on Project
No. 41-167.
Moved by Alderman Baber that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 19th day of October A. D. 1942.
