The Board of Aldermen of the City met in regular session at
8:00 o'clock P. Y. in the Council Room of the Yemorial Auditorium Building
on the above date with the following members present:

In the absence of the It=ayor, W. P. Hood, it was moved by Alderman
Williams that Alderman V.. Ralph Hyer be appointed a,ayor-protem for this
meeting.
Yotion seconded -y Alderman Stephens an carried.
The minutes of the regular re eting of September 21st, were read.
The 'l ayor-protem approved the minutes of September 21st as read.
A proposed franchise ordinance of the Community Natural Gas Company,
as revised by the board of Aldermen, ras fully discussed by representatives
of the Compunit- t atural Gas Cc., and by the Board of Aldermen.
I;oved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermenapprove the
expenditure of a maximum of �2,000 for the construction of a concrete floor in
the main hangar 7_lxilding of the ivunicipal Airport, and order same paid out of
the Airport Improvement j3ond Fund.
motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen accept the
Ccuncil's committee report made orally by the Chairman, Aldernan Stephens, in
the claim alleging damages tr: property, m=lde ',y W. h:. Taylor and wife,
recozinendinf^. that the City purchase the damaged property fcr the account of
the new eater Alant site at a r'aximur._ cost of $350.00.

iv-oved by Alderman Stampfli that the Bo�:rd of Aldermen at:thorize and
order the refund of $5.77 to Yrs. Be:!sie Stephens, being homestead tax for the
years 1934 and 1935.
