Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen approve chauffeur's license to Robt. L. Ragan. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen allow homestead tax refund to Mrs. Bertha Henderson, Lot 1, Block 57 Southland Addition, year 1941 in amount of Z40.50. To Jack :Roberts, 2004 Filmore St., amount 010.50 Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. 826 it Moved b Alderman Fitzpatrick that inasmuch as the Wichita Y P Garbage Company has not paid $250,00 mr nthly to the City as provided that the Board of Aldermen authorize the City Attorney to file suit to break the contract between the City and the Wichita Garbage Company, and further instruct the City Manager and the Health Department to hold themselves in readiness to take over the collection and disposal Iof trash and garbage. r Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. i I - - - - - - - - - - Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldemen authorize and order the adjustment of personal and property taxes set out in the following schedule: Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize Mayor W. P. Hood to execute fbr and on behalf of the City of Wichita Falls bill of sale to the Texas Electric Service Co. , bearing date of September 8, 1942, in the amount of $2134.79, covering a pro-rata part of protect- ive fence enclosing the properties of the City of Wichita Falls new water i plant, and a portion of the Texas Electric Service Company property, and installed on their property under contract with the City of Wichita Falls. Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize and order the City Treasurer to transfer the sum of $20,000 from the Water Improvement No. 2 to the plater Improvement Fund No. 1. i Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen authorize the City Manager to ask for bids on $20,000 City of Wichita Falls Water Improvement Bonds No. 2. Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize and instruct the City Treasurer to transfer $59000 from the Water Operations and maintenance Fund to the Parking Meter Fund.
