The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 8:00 o'clock P. M. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium
Building on the above date with the following members present:

The minutes of the regular meeting of August loth, were read.
The Mayor approved the minutes of August loth, as read.
Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board of Aldermen allow
showing of a carnival known as the Tidwell Shows, beginning September 7th, and
sponsored by the Tunior Chamber of Commerce, being understood that all licenses
and charges provided for by the ordinances governing, are to be paid.
Motion seconded by Alderman Williams and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 1349
AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A RENTAL CHARGE OF TWO PER CENT OF THE (MOSS
INCO11E RECEIVED FOR TRANSPORTING PASSENGERS VITHIN THE CITY OF WICHITk FALLS,
TEXAS, TO BE PAID BY PERSONS, TRUSTEES, FIRS"S, ASSOCIATIONS AND CORPORATIONS
ENGAG_TD IN THE BUSINESS OF `TRANSPORTING PASSENGERS FOR HIRE ON AND OVER DESIGNATED

RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE
HEALTH CENTER BUILDING
DOCKET TEAS 41-213
VEEREAS, the Architects' recommendation has been received
advising of the completion of the work of Taylor & Howle, Contractors,
in the construction of the Health Center Building, and
%1EREAS, proper inspection and satisfactory report has been
made by the City Manager and Dr. L. C. Robbins of the U. S. Department of
Health, now therefore it is,
RESOLVED that the contract of Taylor and Howle and all
approved change4ibe accepted and that proper steps be taken to take
charge of the building and that insurance protection be obtained.
PASSED AND APPRG VED this the loth day of August A. D.
1942.

Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen authorize
payment to 9Fiehita General Hospital of $1217,69 upon payment of like sum by
Wichita County.
