Hicks, City Attorney The minutes of the regular meeting of July 20th, were read. Mayor W. P. Hood declared the minutes as read approved. Moved by Alderman Baber that the Board of Aldermen approve the following tax refund to Harry Daugherty Jr. and the First Federal Savings and Loan Association for the year 1941 $25.05 homestead. Motion seconded by Alderman Stephens and carried. H E d 0 L U T 1 0 N 'THAT VaAREAS, on the 22nd day of June, A. D. 1942, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, by a resolution duly made, authorized Mayor W. P. hood of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to execute an option to the United States of America for the purchase of 368 acres of land belonging to bars. Zetta McKinley, et al, out of '1homas Curry Survey, Abstract 344, and the wm. Anglin Survey No. 2, which lies South and Lust of Sheppard Field in Wichita County, Texas, and wiEHNAb, the said w. Y. hood, Mayor of the City of Wichita Falls did according to said resolution execute an option to the United States of America to purchase said land, and Wig, the United States of America has requested that such option be submitted on the form used by the office of the Chief Engineers Construction Division - Real Estate Branch. Hood, mayor of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be further authorized and empowered to execute a deed conveying the 368 acre tract of land to the United States of America provided said offer is accepted by the United Stages of America.
