- 'he minutes of the regular meetings of June 8th, and June 15th,
were read.

Loved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen order the
extension of sanitary sewer service to 1514 Garfield Street, the vity to bear
two-thirds of the cost, and the owner to bear one third of the cost of said
extension.

Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen instruct the
City Attorney to prepare an ordinance closing gulf Street and an alley at the
south end of Gulf Street connecting Gulf Street with Holiiday Street.

Curry Survey, Abstract 344, and the vim. Anglin Survey ivo. 2 , which lies South and
East of Sheppard Field in Wichita County, 'iexas, and
vuithhA6, the City of w,ichita r'alls is obligated to the united States of
America to acquire fee title to 6.4 acres out of the above described tract of land
upon which a sewerage disposal plant has been erected in con, ection with the oper-
ation of Sheppard yield, and in acquiring said land condemnation proceedings were

filed, from which an appeal is now pending in the Court of Civil Appeals in
tort lorth, Tarrant County, Texas, in which judgment title to said 6.4 acres
of land Yas vested in the City of Wichita falls and judgment enbred in favor
of vrs. letta u-cninley, et al, against the City of Wichita kalls, Texas, and
tiriGrt AS, since the institution of condemnation proceedings afore-
said, the United States of America has advis^d the City of Wichita lolls that
it desired to acquire the remainder of said 368 acre tract of land and the
City of oicnita calls desires to assist in acquiring said land for the united
