The Board of Aldermen cf the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 8:00 o'clock P. r._. in the Council Room of the Aiemorial Auditorium
,building on the above date with the following members present:

The :minutes of the regular meeting of may 25th, were read.

kayor Hood called for a public hearing to be set for June 1st. on
Ordinance ivo. 1344, said ordinance providing for the annexation to and including
zr.ithin the City Limits of Wichita Falls certain property owned by the City of
Wichita Fallen State of 'Texas, and adjacent to the corporate limits to the City
of Wichita Falls, and containing 662 acres of land, more or less.
beme discussion was had relative to the provisions of Ordinance ff1344,
whereupon the t-ayor declared the hearing closed.

Vir,�, on or about the 24th day or August, 1931, the City of
Wichita rIalis, Texas, acting by and through its i;ayor and board of Aldermen,
passed and enacted Ordinance iio. 1067, reducing the rates and charges which
wunicipal Gas Uompany, predecessor of Community ivatural Ucs Company, is
authorized to make and collect fbr domestic natural gas delivered in the
Uity of tichita P'alls, 'Text s; and
Vli REAS, thereafter said municipal Gas Company appealed from such
action of the said City of Wichita Falls, 'Texas, to the Railroad Comllistion
of 'Texas, .which Commission on the 21st day of February 1935, entered its
order in Gas Utilities Docket ic. 34 fixing the rates to be charged by said
Municipal Gas Company for domestic natural gas delivered in said City of
Wichita Falls, Texas; and

District Court of Travis County for the 53rd Judicial District of Texas,
wherein the Cause was styled n°unicipal Gas Uompany vs Railroad Commission
of Texas, et al, ivo. 55,160; and

was Company, was substituted in said Cause as party plaintiff in lieu of

to the Third Court of Civil Appeals, Austin, Texas, where said appeal is now

entered its order in Dockets ivo. U-208 and No. (a-209, which order has the
effect of reducingr the price of domestic and commercial natural gas delivered
at the city gate of Wichita ��alls, Texas, by Loss Star Gas Company to
Community ivatural Gas Company from forty cents j40¢) to thirty cents (300) per
thousand cubic feet; and
VttitAhAS, Lone Star Gr s Company and Community ivatural Gas Company
agreed to the entry of such order by the Federal Power Commission; and further
agreed that such reduction in the price of natural gas at the city gate of
u,ichita Falls woule be pawsed on by Community ivatural Gas Company to all dom-
estic and commercial natural gn..s consumers in the City or *ichita Falls, 'Texas;

all domestic and commercial natural gas delivered by Community ivatural Gas

all claims of the City of Wichita Falls, 'Texas, against Community ivatural Gras
company arising from, or connected with, the aforementioned ordinance of said

Attorneys representing lairs. Zetta rrcxinley and others in the ccndenna-
tion procedure xx. City of Wichita falls vs Jvss. Zetta McKinley et al in the
County Court of Nichita County, Texas, No. 10837, judgment having been obtained
for the sum of §11,942.40, filed a wmitten proposal with the Board of Aldermen for
settlement of said judgment for the sum of 07,500 with the agreement of the attorneys
representing Zetta IvcKinley. fte Council took tI-is matter under advisement until
June 15th.

or license, for the establishment of golf driving- range and a "battum baseball"
range to J. K. icatthews, subject to the terms and provisions of the ordinance
governing.

and order adjustment of personal and property taxes and settlement of

City of Wichita Falls, Texas hereby instruct and authorize the .N�ayor to
execute for and on behalf of said city with the Government of, America an
annual renewal of the lease covering approximately 604 acres, known as
bheppard Field.

position of the City Nanager Vacant, and appoint X. M. Rugeley Acting
City Langer until the position is permanently filled.
