The Board of Aldermen of the Qity of vvichita calls met in regular
session at 30:00 o'clock A. w. in the Council zoom of the w-emorial Auditorium
building on the above date with the following members present:

w:ayor hood announced that among other matters this regular session
of the hoard of Aldermen would consider bids on Texas Docket "o. 41-167. bids
on 'Texas Locket ivo. 41-167 were called for. she Engineers in charge of said
Locket reported that no bids had been received on Locket ljo. 41-167.

of Wichita rails authorize and order the t,ngineers in charge of Texas rocket
fdo. 41-167 to proceed immediately in an attempt to negotiate with any contractor
available for contract to construct s-.nitary sewer proposed under Texas Docket
Ao. 41-167, referring° a.ny contract available to the hoard of Aldermen for final
approval and acceptance.

for the construction of new water plant and water system improvements, said bonds
were duly and legally voted, issued and sold and designated as Vater improvement

deteridning whether or not the City of Wichita walls should issue 0140,000 General
Obligation bonds for the purpose of general water inprovement ; and,
lviiE FAS, said 0140,000 Water Improvement Bonds were duly and legally
voted, issued and sold and designated as `dater Improvement two. 2; and,
vtizttEAS, the proceeds of the 000,000 City of vvichita r'alls Vtater
nevenue bonds have, or will be, immediately expended in the construction of the
new water plant ; and,

VIiEREAS the proceeds from Water Improvement bonds designated
as V*later Improvement Fund No. 2 are available for general vater improvement.

City Clerk be, and are hereby, ordered and authorized to transfer 050,000
of the proceeds from the sale of the 0140,000 ti ater improvement Bonds
designated as Vater Improvement Fund No. 2 to the 'eater Improvement )?end
Ao. 1, for the purpose of genral water improvement and the completion of
the new water plant and water system.

the Legal Department to represent the City of Wichita valls at a conference
of City Representatives with the Railroad Commission of Texas at Dallas, to
consider the gas rates reduction order, and the status of the 0ity of
vfichita malls suits versus Lone Star Gas Co., and/or others, and report to
the Board of Aldermen recom-endations for their final approval for disposition
of said suit, and acceptance by the City of Wichita Falls of the gas rates
ordered.

adjacent to, and adjoining, the present corporate limits of said City
generally including the right of v+ay hi,,-hway 1vo. 70, and the Airport land s
all being specifically set out and descriued in said petition.

public hearing on proposed Ordinance No. 1544, extending the City Limits
to include the area petitioned adjacent to and adjoining the present corporate
limits of the City covering right of way or highway No. 70 and Airport
lands, to be held at the regular meeting of the Bcrd of Aldermen on June lst.

the free use of the Auditorium oy the Cffice of Defense Transportation the
night of n:ay 26th.
