The hoard of Aldermen of the Uity of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 8:00 o'clock P. ul. in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium
ouilding on the above date with the following members present:

AMENDED RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 01'
THE CITY Or VylC1Gi1`I`A FALL.;, TEXAS.
Vtix:REAS, on the 9th day of k rch 1942, the City of Wichita Falls
entered into a contract with Glade Construction Company for certain improve-
ments to the water system, which contract is identified by said parties as
DOCkE`1' M. Thx. 41-122; and
YkI.P,REAS, heretofore said Contractor, Glade Construction Company
made an assignment to Wichita national Bank of Wichita Falls of certain mon-
ies due and payable thereunder; and
VkihREAS, on April 6th, 1942, the City Council of the City of
Vtichita Falls approved said assignment, but the parties since such approval
desire to make certain corrections in said assignment and hire now presented
to the City a corrected assignment in complete substitution for said former
assignment, such corrected assignment bearing date April 27, 1942:

session, on the 27th day of April 1942, that such corrected assignment be
accepted by said kity and it is so ordered.

On this the 4th day of May A. D. 1942, at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, a full quorum of said
Council being present and acting, came on to be heard the petition of Marion
Barrett, Inc., and the City ivational Bank in Wichita Falls, Texas, asking for
authority to make a replat and dedication of the following described property,
to-wit:

Southside Addition to the Uit7, of Wichita
Falls, Texas, according to the recorded
map or plat thereof.
6.1 UTi0.. 2: All of Blocks idos. 1, 4 and 8, of the
warlborough Addition to the City of
oichita Falls, -exas, according to the
recorded map or plat thereof.
As is more fully snown by a sketch showing such re-plat of a part
oi' warlborough Addition presented to the Council for approval and proposed by
b,arion »arrett, Inc., an7 the City Vational bank in Wichita Falls, 'Texas, to be
filed in the Deed Records of Wichita County, 'Texas, and dedicated as a replat
of a part of said addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
And no opposition to said petition being presented, or known, and
it appearing to the Council that said petitioners are nov, the owners and sole
owners of the above described property out of the Cyrus Eakman Survey, Abstract
Wichita Vounty, 'Texas, and that said re-plat of the above described portions
bf said 5outhside Addition and harlborough Addition will not be detrimental to
�_. the rights and uses of the adjacent property owners nor of the public, the Council
is of the opinion that said petition should be granted.

hank in Wichita Falls, 'Texas, are hereby authorized to place upon said property
the dedication proposed and to place of record in the Deed Records of "ichita
county, Texas, the re-plat and dedication of Liarlbrough Addition to the City of

permit to F. L. Aemmerly to operate an Archery at 1105 Scott Street.

Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen grant
permit to Mrs. Sarah S. Davidson to operate a concession on the West lawn
of the Auditorium grounds.

NMoved by Alderman Haber that the Board of Aldermen authorize
the acceptance and execution of certain pipe line licenses granted by the
Fort Worth a Denver City Ry. Co. , and the Wichita Valley Railroad Co.,
for the construction of laying a 241, water main, for a total consideration
of 019.00, and order same paid out of hater improvement Lund No. 2.

Loved by Alderman Stephens that the board of Aldermen authorize
the purchase of Lot 3 Block 2 Sunset sleights addition from mrs. Grace bullen
for a consideration of 0150.00, being a portion of right of ray for United
States highway 1vumber 30.

Loved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen grant per-
mission to A. J. yobson to re-locate wholesale storage tanks used for cleaner's
solvent to a new location approximately 3 blocks west of the present Location
of said tanks on the west side of the old Iowa Park iiighway between the said
highway and the railroad right of way.

Moved by Alderman Stephens that the Board of Aldermen accept and
approve the request of Peter rirsch & Co., for omission of lahrome plating,brass
rails and locomotive bell from the aerial ladder truck, and accept the credit of
447.50 in adjustment for substituted materials.
