The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 2:30 o'clock P. Di. in the Council Room of the tiemorial Auditorium
Building on the above date with the following members present:

The minutes of the special meeting of March 26th, and the regular
meeting of March 30th, were read.
moved by Alderman Williams that the minutes of the special meeting
of karch 26th, and the regular meeting of March 30th, be approved as read.

moved by Alderman wolf that the Hoard of Aldermen authorize and order
refund to tars. Cecil killer and Federal ivational mortgage Association of $25.80
being homestead tax paid in error for the year 1940.

moved by Alderman ivaylor that the Board of Aldermen authorize construct-
ion of sanitary sewer service for the 300 block on i'orth Scott 6t., at an estimated
cost reported by the City manger of *900,00, provided the owners of property in
the 300 block pay to the City *250.00 of the estimated cost of construction.

moved by Alderman villiams that the Board of Aldermen nereuy authorize
and order the transfer from the Water Fund of 480,000 to various r`unds as follows:

±•alls entered into a contract with Glade Construction Company for
certain improvements to its water system, which contract is identified
by said parties to the same and by the Federal Vbrks Agency of the
United States, as VUUtLT ivU. � t'&. 41-122, which contract was approved by
said Federal vaorks Agency on the llth, day oi march, 1942; and
under date of April lst, 1942, said Contractor,
Lilade Construction Oompany, made an assignment to Wichita -National
hank of Wichita Falls, to certain monies due and payable thereunder, and
as security for monies to be loaned and advanced to him by said bank to
enable him to carry out said Contract, said assignment having been
presented to the City by said Contractor with an application that the
same be accepted:

in regular session on the 6th day of April, 1942, that said assignment be
accepted by said City, subject only to its being approved by the federal
Works Agency of the United States.

construction of storm sewer drainage ditch, or facilities, on property belonging
to Dan Boone and located between fierce Street and -Ouchanan Street on the
north side of 9th, not to exceed a cost of 4300.00.
