The Board of Aldermen of the city of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 8:00 o'clock P. Y. in the Council Room of the blemorial Auditorium
building on the above date with the following members present :

The minutes of the regular meeting of March 23rd, were read.
Moved by Alderman iiaylor that the minutes of March 23rd, be
approved as read.
motion seconded by Alderman Violf and carried.
koved by Alderman ivaylor that the Board of Aldermen authorize and
order refunded to the First Federal Savings and Loan Association on homestead
of I,,.. A. Chambers for the year 1941, in the amount of $45,00.

Who;REAS, it is necessary and advisable that the cast iron pipe and
cast iron fittings to be incorporated in the construction of the proposed Water
improvements, covered by the Contract of the Glade Construction Company, under
Docket Texas 41-122, be tested by laboratory ne thods prior to incorporation in the
project, and
* *iLHEAS, the Pittsburg Testing Laboratory, of Pittsburg, Penn., are
competent and fully equipped to make such tests.
1A)W, 'lhlIREbURE, be it resolved that the Pittsburg `Testing Laboratories
are hereby nomina ted, subject to the approval of the Federal Works Agency, to
handle all necessary testing of materials that are to be incorporated in the con-
struction of the above identified project.

order and authorize the transfer of f8,000 from the VVlater Fund to the Parking
meter Fund.

chauffeurs license to Clarence Albert Tabor.

employment of Leslie Humphrey, Attorney to represent the City of Wichita
Falls in Cause No. 36562 B - 78th Court and authorize employment of Harvey
Barris to represent the City ( Wichita Falls in Cause No, 35912 B,
Bruner vs City of Wichita Falls.
