Hicks, City Attorney The minutes of the regular meeting of March 2nd, were read. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the minutes of March 2nd, be approved by the Board of Aldermen as read. Lotion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Board of Aldermen hereby order and set for public hearing proposed Ordinance No. 1337, being an ordinance granting the Wichita Transit Corporation the right and privilege to maintain and operate motor buses as a City-wide motor bus transportation system within the City of Wichita Falls. Said hearing to be held in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building at 6:00 o'clock P. M. March 16th, and March 23rd. Lotion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Alderman Wolf, Chairman of the Committee of the Board heretofbre appointed by the Mayor to negotiate with utilities furnishing gas to the City of Wichita Falls, for the levying of gross sales tax, made an oral report on the progress of negotiations.
