The City ;r:anager reported to the Hoard of Aldermen that his investi-
gation disclosed that United Service Organizations in Abilene, 'Texas, are fur-
nished regular normal water utility service without charge until June 30, 1942,
and all other cities contacted charge United Service Organizations for regular
v;ater service at either modified or regular rates.
Tvoved by Alderman �-illiams that the Board of Aldermen authorize and
order refund of certain taxes paid on homesteads listed and submitted by the
Tax Collector.

SECTION 1. ' That an election is hereby called to be held on the 7th
day of April, A. D. 1942, for the purpose of electing three Aldermen and a Mayor
for the City of Wichita Falls, Texas.
SECTION 2. The places for which Aldermen shall be elected are here-
by designated as Nos. 4, 5, and 6. Said Aldermen shall serve the City of TAchita
Falls for the ensuing two years and until their successors are elected and
qualified.
SECTION 3. The election shall be held in accordance with the laws
of the State of Texas and ordinances and Charter of the City of Wichita Falls,
made and provided in such cases. The places for holding said election shall be at
the Central Police Station; Travis School; Barwise School; fichita County Court
House; Kemp's Public Library; Baber' s Pharmacy; 17th Street Fire Station; Jeffer-
son Street Fire Station; 7th Street Fire Station; Floral Heights Cook Shop; 1911
Collins; Baum's Pharmacy; Giddings St. Fire Station; Monroe Street Pharmacy;
E-:glish Pharmacy; Buchanan St, Fire Station; Turner's Barber Shop, 705 N. Broadway
and East Side Presbyterian Church; and shall be conducted by the following named
