The purpose of this especial meeting was announced by the
mayor to be the consideration of bids for the construction of a 24" aster
Min line, connecting the new water plant with the Sheppard Field Mter
line at the intersection of 7th and Ohio Streets. Texas rocket 41-122,

Detailed tabulation of bids dated February 18th, certified
to by 1. V. hugeley, Engineer, were considered by the Board of Aldermen.
moved by Alderman hilliams that the Glade Construction Company
of Wichita Falls, 'Texas be awarded the contract for the construction
of ?Water main Extensions and improvements, Texas Docket to. 41-122, at a
net bid of 0104,970.97. This bid being a total net bid, less alternate
Los. 1, 2 and 3, and hereby declared to be the lowest and best bid, and sub-

AlwANA, and acceptance of said offer by the City of lchita Falls.
Lotion seconded by Alderman dyer and carried.
Loved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen accept
the recommendation of the Engineers in charge and award the Anderson
Hoofing Co. , as the lowest and best bidders, contract for roof and sheet
metal work over the new rater plant building and clear well at their bid price
of 03,365.30.

Yoved by Alderman Hyer that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
