The hoard of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regular
session at 8:00 o'clock P. I. in the Council Rcom of the 1emorial Auditorium

the needed construction cf flood control in the northeast section of the City
on the Wichita 'rover, and existing drainage canal including flood control gate, at
an estimated cost cf $2500.00, and cyder paid out of funds appropriated for the
current fiscal year from eater funds, after the receipt of approximately $1,000
F rasied by public subscription for this purpose by the Junior Chamber of Commerce.

construction for tabulation and report at subsequent meeting of the Hoard.
V-ayne Somerville, Attorney for Bill Long, i'. J. rolen,
C. R. Barnett, i . B. Hanavay, it. L. Jobe and A. T. Crump, all former
employees of the Cit y of Vichita Falls Fire Department, filed a written
claim vrith the Board of Aldermen for alleged compensation to t' em for
services rendered as regular firemen for the City of YTichita Falls, Texas,
during the past two or three yerss, as set out in said claim.
This natter vas referred to the City Attorney's Depart-nt
for investigation and opinion.

Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen authorize
the n_ a�ment of §23.46 to the Paulk Tire Co. , for truck tire and tube used
on a 72A service truck.
