regular session at 8:00 o'clock P. L. in the Council Room of the lemorial

minutes of the regular meeting of January 19th, as read.

The Committee of the Board of Aldermen, heretofore appoined by
the *.ayor to consider application of the r":ichita 'Transit Corporation, and to
c"nsider Ordinance No. 1337 proposed by said „Corporation, providing for a
Franchise, reported to the Board of Aldermen by submitting a redraft of
proposed Ordinance No. 1337. Ordinance to. 1337 as redrafted and reported
by said committee was read in full by the City Clerk.
E The Yayor requested the committee to continue negotiations with
representatives and attorneys for the Wichita Transit Corporation.

certain interests in building known as the City-County Builing, ffousing
Government Relief Agency offices, in lieu of contract dated Yarch 3, .1941.

RESOLUTION FIXING MIIy YU, VALE RATES
Vd�r;REAS, a thorough investigation has been made of the hourly wage
rates which are being paid in the vicinity of Wichita Falls, Texas, which is �
the locElity in which the proposed project (hereinafter referred to, as "Project")
is to be constructed by the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to employees in each
trade or occupation engaged in work of a nature similar to the work to be
performed in the construction of said Project, and the prevailing hourly wage
rates being paid in such locality to such employees for such work have been
determined by consulting Local Unions Vorks Projects Administratian, and these
are the cages being paid by the City of Wichita galls on the construction of a
water filter plant now under construction. s

Wichita Falls, Texas, that the following rates for the respective trades or
occupations listed below shall be and are hereby fixed as the minimum hourly
wage rates and have been determined in accordance with rates prevailing
for work of a similar nature in the locality in which the project is to be
