Min 01/19/1942 Wichita Falls, Texas January 19, 1942 Memorial Auditorium The Board of Aldermen of the City of 'Wichita Falls met in regular session at 8:00 o'clock P. 1 in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium Building on the above date with the following members present: W. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor s J. W. Fitzpatrick, ! W. Ralph Hyer, 1 E H. T. Naylor, Aldermen V. E. Stampfli, Tas. v. Vdlliams, Frank Wolf, t J. Bryan Diller, City Manager I J. H. Crouch, City Clerk Thelbert Martin, Asst. City Attorney 6 i i Moved by Alderman Stampfli that the Board of Aldermen approve i the minutes of the regular meeting of Tanuary 12th, as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried. f Loved by Alderman Williams that the Mayor appoint a commA ttee of the Council to confer with the Legal Department of the City and special representatives of the Tliehita Transit Company, in consideration of the application of Wichita Transit Cornoration, proposed Ordinance No. 1337, for franchise to operate Wotor Nus transportation system in the City of Wichita. i motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. - - - - - - - - - - e Mayor Fitzgerald appointed a committee of the Board, composed of Aldermen Hyer, Wolf and Williams, to consider application of Wichita Transit Corporation for franchise to operate Tvotor Bus System. i Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen order the installation of an electric traffic signal light on llth Street at the Alamo School. i Motion seeon0ed by Alderman Hyer and carried. i Moved ',y Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen grant the request of the American Legion for permit for carnival shows on the Ball park site March 30th through April 4th. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. - - - - - - - - - - Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen grant the use of Municipal Auditorium for USC programs at 3 o'clock P. M. to 4 O'c'fock P. 1 each Sunday afternoon, with charges for the first two shows at $20.00 each and charges thereafter at $30.00 each. Motion seconded by Alderman Stampfli and carried. �2 Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen order the transfer of $5,003 from the rater Fund to the Parking 14eter Fund.
