The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls met in regularly
called session at 7:00 o'clock in the Council Room of the Memorial Auditorium
on the above date with the follovi ng members present:

Moved by Alderman Stampfli that Mayor W. E. Fitzgerald be, and
is hereby,authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of 'Wichita Falls
agreement for the continued operation of the Food Stamp office, provided no
additional cost of operation is incurred, and further provided that there be
no increase in the revolving fund.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stampfli that Mayor W. E. Fitzgerald be
requested to appoint a committee of three, including himself, to confer with
the officials of the several banks regarding the method of assessing values
for taxable purposes.
Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried.

Mayor Fitzgerald thereupon appointed the following committee:

Alderman W. Ralph Hyer

Moved by Alderman Stampfli that Mayor W. E. Fitzgerald be, and is
hereby, authorized to sign and execute contract for and on behalf of the City of
Wichita Falls, with the Government of the United States of America providing
for the lease of Kell Field Municipal Airport.
Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.
Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that the Board of Aldermen adjourn.
Motion seconded by alderman Williams and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned until the regular meeting
of September 8th.
