Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried. i 616 A scheduled public hearing on applications of Taxicab Companies for Certificates of Public Necessity and Convenience for additional Taxicabs was held. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen grant Certificates of Public Necessity and Convenience to the following: Four Treys Taxicab Co. , Tm additional taxicabs. Yellow Cab 0'o. , Two " Ramps Taxicab Co., Two A & A Taxicab Co One Safeway 'Taxicab Co. , One Further,specifically order the issuance of license for addi- tional taxicabs only upon compliance with the terms of the Ordinance governing. Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board or Aldennen approve the payment of 0227,50 to the City National bank for fiscal agent's fee in the retirement of bonds and coupons due June 1, 1941. motion seconded by Alderman 5tampfli and carried. Meredith. i Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen grant the issuance of public dance license on the application of Geo. Soffou, located at 401 North Hcott, contingent <non satisfactory ` nspeetion to be furnished to the City Clerk. Motion seconded by Alderman 5tampfli and carried. Coved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen order the transfer of $3,000 from the Water Operations and Maintenance Fund to the Parking meter l'und. Notion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried, moved by Alderman Williams that the Board of Aldermen approve for payment V904.20 to Terry -brothers, Printers, in full discharge of bids awarded said Terry Brothers for the printing of 309 Ordinance books. Motion seconded by Alderman Naylor and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that the Board of Aldermen approve the payment of ;110.00 for the completion of the negro swimming project. D. 1926, ENTITLED AN CRDI11AANCE CREATING A SPECIAL, POLICE RELIEF FUND, PROVIDING FOR ITS AD INLSTRATION, APED DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Moved by Alderman Fitzpatrick that Ordinance No. 1327 be passed on its seaD nd reading. Motion seconded by Alderman Qlf and carried with the following vote: Yeas: Aldermen golf, 01liams, Stampfli, Hyer, Naylor and Fitzpatrick.
