Min 07/07/1941 605 Wichita Falls, Texas memorial Auditorium, July 7, 1941 The Board of Aldermen met in regular session in the Council zoom of the Memorial Auditorium monday July 7th, 1941 at 8:00 o'clock Y. M. i with the following members present: i w. E. Fitzgerald, Mayor J. W. Fitzpatrick, ! w. Ralph Hyer, 0 H. J . Naylor, 1 Aldermen Frank wolf, s J. Bryan hiller, Uity Manager Geo. T. Henderson, Acting City Clerk T. A. Hicks, City Attorney The minutes of the regular meeting of June 30th, were read. Moved by Alderman Hyer that the minutes of the regular meeting of June �50th, be approved as read. Motion seconded by Alderman Wolf and carried. Petitions were presented by A. E. iiolland requesting installa- tion of fire plugs, speed lights and fire boxes on streets of the negro section of the City of Wichita Falls. Mayor Fitzgerald requested City Manager, T. Bryan Miller, to investigate and report to the City Council. Moved by Alderman Wolf that the Council authorize change in the lay-out of the water main from the new plant to conform to a blue print marked "Exhibit B", as prepared and submitted by Toe E. Ward, Engineer. Motion seconded by Alderman Fitzpatrick and carried. Moved by Alderman Naylor that high efficiency instead of low efficiency electric motors be installed in connection with service pumps at the new water plant, at an additional cost of $87,50 for all three motors. Motion seconded by Alderman Hyer and carried.
